Mike joined the Dalton Carpet One family 3 1/2 years ago bringing with him extensive experience in the flooring industry. Mike is a Certified Flooring Executive (CFE), a designation earned by the World Floor Covering Association.

JR Allred
Operations Manager
JR has been with Dalton Carpet for over 5 years. As Operations Manager, JR handles everything after the sale, including purchasing, inventory and installation. He also serves as the area manager for our Lake Oconee and Gainesville stores. JR is Bona Certified in sand and finish of wood floors, and has a strong background in all hard surface flooring.
JR is always available to all customers for any questions-please don't hesitate to call.

Front Desk Coordinator
Starr joined Dalton Carpet One in 1985 and has 23 years of experience in the scheduling and installation department, where she has won numerous awards. She now serves as DCO's front desk coordinator.
Born and raised in Athens, Starr and her husband still reside here with their two children. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, cooking, gardening and vacationing at the beach whenever possible.

Lee Stinchcomb
Controller
Lee has been the Controller at Dalton Carpet One since 2002 and received the 2004 Associate of the Year Award. He holds a BBA in Accounting from the University of Georgia. Originally from Madison, Georgia, Lee still makes the same town his home today. He and his wife have four children.
When Lee isn't at DCO, he enjoys Friday night football games with the high school band and ROTC, spending time at the lake with family and watching Nascar and college football.

Daphne Watson
Assistant Controller
Daphne joined Dalton Carpet One in January 2001. Her original position was in Accounts Receivable, and she became the Assistant Controller in 2002. Prior to joining Dalton Carpet One, Daphne owned a convenience store for seven years. She studied accounting at Emmanuel College and Piedmont College.
Daphne is originally from Commerce, Georgia and still resides there with her husband. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, playing keyboard in her worship band, teaching women's Bible study and spending time with her husband and children.

Merchandising Assistant
Terri joined Dalton Carpet One in 2005 and worked in Order Entry and Purchasing before becoming our Merchandising Assistant.
Originally from Atlanta, Terri and her family now reside in Winder. In her spare time, she enjoys running, drawing and spending time with family and friends.

Justin Aldridge
Supercenter Management
Justin joined Dalton Carpet One in 2006. After working in DCO's warehouse for two and a half years, he now oversees the inventory in our Supercenter. He also assists with our merchandising department, and he is forklift certified.
Originally from Lawrenceville, Justin studied horticulture at ABAC and now resides in Athens. In his spare time, he enjoys hunting, fishing and playing on the Dalton Carpet One softball team.

Brian has been with Dalton Carpet One since 2005 and was the 2007 Associate of the Year. In addition to working with rugs and binding, he also assists in the Supercenter. Brian is certified in Installation Excellence.
Brian is married and has four children. When he isn't at DCO, he enjoys hunting, fishing, camping, spending time with family and watching football. Brian attends Hull Baptist Church.

Jocelyn Paxson
Flooring Consultant/Interior Designer
Jocelyn joined Dalton Carpet One in 2007 as our on-site interior designer. She has over 10 years of experience in the design field specializing in retail, commercial and new construction projects. She received her Bachelor's of Fine Arts with Design emphasis from the University of Georgia. She is thoroughly trained in CAD and is ASID certified.

Keith joined Dalton Carpet One in 2005 after owning Guest Printing Company for 26 years. He holds a degree in History from the University of Georgia.
Born and raised in Athens, Keith still resides here with his wife. When he's not at DCO, Keith enjoys watching sports and spending time with his wife and two sons.

David joined Dalton Carpet One in 2010 as our Purchasing Agent. Before joining the staff full time, he worked in the warehouse each summer from 1998 until 2004.
Born and raised in Athens, David is currently pursuing a degree in Philosophy from the University of Georgia. David enjoys poker, running, playing golf, watching sports and coaching middle school football at Athens Academy.

Tiffany joined Dalton Carpet One in 2005 and has been in the flooring industry for over ten years.
Tiffany received her Bachelor’s of Science degree in Furnishings and Interiors from University of Georgia. Tiffany's background includes retail and contract sales.

Melanie Griffin
Senior Account Manager /Insurance Specialist/Interior Designer
Melanie joined Dalton Carpet One in 1998 and has over 13 years experience in the flooring industry. Melanie received her degree in Interior Design and Merchandising from East Tennessee State. She is very active in the building community holding positions on the Jackson County Builders Association Board of Directors as well as being an active participant in the Athens Area Home Builders Council. In 1999, Melanie was invited to attend the first Carpet One "Winners Circle".

Donna Brannon
Flooring Consultant
Donna originally joined Dalton Carpet One in 1988. After being promoted to Retail Sales Manager and then working in Builder Sales and Design, she retired in 2007 and opened Possibilites Consignment Furniture. In 2010 Donna returned to Dalton Carpet One as a Retail Flooring Consultant.
In her spare time, Donna enjoys working at her shop and spending time with her husband, children and grandchildren. She is a two years and counting ovarian cancer survivor.
Donna says that she is grateful for the opportunity to again work in this industry, and she enjoys helping people find the right flooring for their home.

Lauren joined Dalton Carpet One in 2009, after originally working with us from 2002 until 2004. Lauren brings ten years of residential design experience with her to DCO. She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree with emphasis on Interior Design from the University of Georgia.
Originally from Warner Robins, Georgia, Lauren now resides in Athens with her husband, cat and dog. In her spare time, she enjoys painting, gardening and traveling.

Keri joined the Dalton Carpet One staff as a Flooring Consultant in March 2011 after working as an intern with us since September 2010. Keri attended Athens Tech and Gainesville State and holds degrees in both Art and Interior Design.
In her spare time, Keri enjoys going to concerts, kayaking, golf, traveling and spending time with her dog Zeus.

Casey has been with Dalton Carpet One for six years. She holds a bachelor's degree in Fine Arts from Stephen F. Austin University-taking both art and design courses. Casey has one many awards while at Dalton Carpet One including the "Above and Beyond" Dalton Carpet One Award in 2008, "Retail Salesperson of the Year" for two years in a row, and 5-Star Installation Excellence.

Jeremy has 2 ½ years of experience in the flooring business and 8 years in the construction industry. As a commercial sales specialist and project manager for Dalton Carpet One, Jeremy works with Military Bases and Higher Education. He is a graduate of East Carolina University with a BS in Industrial Distribution and Logistics. Jeremy is OSHA 30 Certified, First Aid Certified, and CPR Certified.

Chris Long
Commercial Estimator
Originally hailing from the hills of Tennessee, Chris came to Dalton Carpet One in August of 2005. Chris began his career at DCO in the Lead Warehouse position but quickly became the Inventory Manager in 2006. Chris became the Commercial Estimator in early 2008 and was named Associate of the Year for 2010.
Chris has worked in several industries such as running a screen printing operation and even spent some time Gold Mining in California. Chris is married to a wonderful wife, Amanda and they have two dachshounds that think they are children. He spends his free time as an avid fly-fisherman, reading history, doing genealogy research, occasionally picking a guitar and enjoying being alive. While Chris may be from Tennessee, he is all Dawg. He follows all University of Georgia athletic endeavors. Chris is currently in school seeking a Political Science degree from UGA.

Originally from Plymouth, Minnesota, Jeff now resides in Athens. He enjoys golf, fishing, snowboarding, video production and baseball.

Jesse joined Dalton Carpet One in October 2009, bringing with him 16 years of installation experience, including eight years in installation management. He was trained by the Jim Walker American Floor Covering Institute in 1994.
A native of Illinois, Jesse now resides in Athens and enjoys playing golf in his spare time.

Born and raised in Athens, GA, Jeff joined Dalton Carpet One in November 2009, bringing with him six years of operations management experience in Lumber and Building Materials. Jeff holds a BBA in Accounting from the University of South Carolina and is currently working on an MBA in Enterprise Integration and an MS in Operations Management from the University of Alabama.
Jeff is a Demonstrated Senior Logistician and an OSHA 500 Outreach Instructor. He also holds a Six Sigma Lean Green Belt certification from Emory University.
Jeff, his wife and their three dogs reside in Athens.
